Art Adventures
A weekly journey down art history lane, learning about a variety of historic and contemporary artists, exploring new art techniques, and experimenting with different materials, in a fun, creative safe environment!
Survivor: 1842
The many people who lived at El Pueblo Trading Post from 1842-1854 needed to know many skills to live in Colorado’s rugged environment. Survivor: 1842 will teach young people how to track, trade, and thrive in Pueblo's early days.
Modern Homesteading
Homesteading is defined as a lifestyle of self-sufficiency and self-reliance. Our Modern Homesteading class highlights how one would have lived historically off of the land while being introduced to valuable skills and concepts. Students will learn about and preserve history through book making, textile arts, preserving and fermenting food, creating items for the home and many other fun hands-on activities!
History of Gaming
Students, get ready to learn about the past through friendly competition and battles of wits. Participants will test their strategy and math skills all while learning about the rules and history of games. Come learn about the fascinating history of games through social and psychological aspects of games and game theory!
!Vamos a Hablar!
Join our fun and safe learning environment where students will learn about Spanish speaking cultures and countries! Students will engage with the culture and experience a taste of Spanish cuisine. We will share culinary dishes and traditions together in this immersive learning experience.
Jamie Moon- Sensory Sanctuary
All participants will end their day in a combined class designed to encourage physical and emotional self regulation strategies through art, nature, mind-body connection, self expression, and storytelling.
