Class Themes:

Art Adventures (Teacher: Misti Hughes)

A weekly journey down art history lane, learning about a variety of historic and contemporary artists, exploring new art techniques, and experimenting with different materials, in a fun, creative safe environment!

Indigenous Arts (Teacher:  Chela Lujan)

Explore the traditions, stories and arts of our indigenous ancestors with Chela.  Students will learn about indigenous methods of self care and natural healing, experience relationships between nature/animals/people through storytelling, and practice traditional art forms such as beading, pottery and music.

Survivor: 1842 (Teacher-Tommy Farrell)

The many people who lived at El Pueblo Trading Post from 1842-1854 needed to know many skills to live in Colorado’s rugged environment. Survivor: 1842 will teach young people how to track, trade, and thrive in Pueblo's early days.

Underground History (Teacher: Taryn Benavidez)

Let’s be archaeologists and explore the history around us! Join us on our journey as we compare different archaeological discoveries, investigate artifacts, and conduct our own mini-excavations!

Colorado Changemakers (Teacher:  TBD)

Colorado has a rich history built on the lives of impactful and brilliant people. In this class campers will get to enjoy fun activities inspired by the extraordinary lives of famous women who changed Colorado's history, making Colorado what it is today.

Fun and Fitness (Teacher: EPHM staff & interns)

All participants will end their day in a combined class designed to encourage physical and emotional self regulation strategies through movement, yoga, and dance.
