Description
Campers will jump through time continuums as they learn about 19th century Pueblo, Colorado. They will become travelers through the trading post, follow the bison across the plains, and walk the borderlands of the past. Becoming a time traveler will grant the campers with the opportunity to have a helping hand in Pueblo’s origin story.

Through modern technology, decades worth of history is available to all who seek it. Campers will step foot into the decade itself to have a hands-on experience through music, film, dance, and food! They will be able to visit the birthplace of jazz, human rights, films with color, swing dancing, and soul food. They will leave this week, not as campers, but as directors, dancers, chefs, musicians, and knowledge keepers.

Come join the fun carnival arriving in Pueblo! Campers will create their own carnival and become entrepreneurs. They will gain the ability to connect their favorite activities to the historical involvement while showcasing their creative ingenuity. This final week they will produce a yearbook and a collection of their summer journey.
