Camp Overview: 

Join us as we embark on a cultural journey to explore the magic of the winter holiday season through games, crafts, and food from around the world. Any musing mind, active adventurer, or creative kid will find something to keep the winter blues away during our Winter Fiestas at the Fort!

Camp Dates and Duration:

December 30, 2024-January 3rd, 2025 (Closed January 1st)

Camp hours are 8am-4pm daily

Restrictions

Participants must be 6 years to 14 years old when the program starts.

Description

Join us at the Fort Garland Museum and Cultural Center for 10 weeks of fun break camps! Hands-On History provides safe, engaging learning opportunities for elementary & middle school children.

  • 10%- History Colorado Member or 4th Grade History Buffs
  • 10%- Early Bird Registration (automatically applied through December 6th)
  • 10%- Multiple Children Enrolled (automatically applied) 
  • 10%- Educator/First Responder/Military
  • 10%- Past Hands-on History Enrollment (must have enrolled in a past program in the last 6 months)
  • 20%- History Colorado Staff or Volunteer
  • 40%- For families that qualify for Free and Reduced Lunches
