Overview:

This camp invites children to explore the rich oral traditions of the Ute people, learning how these stories were passed down through generations-or, in some cases, lost. Participants will hear timeless Ute legends, create traditional winter crafts such as beadwork and handmade ornaments, and work on developing their own stories inspired by the themes they discover. This camp offers a meaningful blend of learning, storytelling, and hands-on activities, perfect for the winter season.

Hands-On History School Break Camps offers kids 10 weeks of safe, fun, and engaging adventures through time at the acclaimed Ute Indian Museum
